StreamGram: Self-Hosted Telegram Video Sources and Channel Catalogs

Stream videos accessible to your Telegram account in Stremio, with optional channel catalogs, multilingual search and self-hosting required.

  • http streams
  • movies
  • tv shows

StreamGram is a free, open-source Stremio addon that finds movie and episode sources among media accessible to your connected Telegram account. It is self-hosted and includes no media library.

Telegram sources and browsing

  • Playback: Videos can start before the full file downloads, with seeking supported.
  • Catalogs: Telegram channels and folders can become optional browsable catalogs.
  • Search languages: Search supports English, Hebrew, Russian and Arabic.
  • Video identification: IMDb/TMDB tagging helps identify videos with unclear filenames.
  • Multiple accounts: One instance can support multiple Telegram accounts with separate private addon links and preferences.

Your own instance and account

Each user must run their own instance and connect their own Telegram account. The public manifest is only for discovery; it supplies neither a shared account nor a ready-to-play streaming service.

Requirements include a public HTTPS URL, Telegram API ID and API Hash, and a TMDB API Read Access Token. Hosting options include Docker or Node.js on a local machine or server, or optional third-party hosting through InstaPods. StreamGram itself is free, but third-party hosting may cost money.
