Doc Vault is a Stremio catalog addon for discovering documentary films and series. Its curated lists put established favorites ahead of newer releases rather than sorting everything by release date.
Doc Vault: Documentary Films and Series Organized by Era and Topic
Browse curated documentary films and series, with a dedicated true-crime row and era or topic filters in Stremio Discover.

- movie
Three documentary rows
The addon adds three home-screen catalogs:
- Doc Vault Series: Documentary series across its covered topics.
- True Crime Series: A separate row dedicated to true-crime documentaries.
- Doc Vault Films: Feature-length documentaries.
Titles are ordered by a curated featured rank, then by year and alphabetically. Recent releases have their rank capped so early popularity does not immediately push them above established selections.
Era and topic filters
The main series and film catalogs offer filters in Discover. Series eras span Before 2010, the 2010s and the 2020s; film eras also distinguish Before 2000 and the 2000s.
Both include nature, true crime, history and biography topics. Films offer additional categories such as science and space, society and politics, music, sports, and film and TV. Series have fewer topic filters because categories are generally offered only when they contain roughly ten titles.
Doc Vault supplies catalogs, not playback streams, and requires no addon configuration.
