Chinese dramas with native titles and existing Chinese TMDB metadata. No translation.

What This Addon Offers

cNative is a configurable Stremio metadata addon for Chinese TV dramas. TMDB is the only provider. cNative uses existing Chinese/native metadata and never translates or scrapes it.

[How to install]

Get your TMDB API key

You need a TMDB account and your own API key.

Sign in to

Open

Settings → API

.

If you do not have an API key, complete TMDB’s registration process and accept its terms.

Copy your API Key (v3 auth).

The same API settings page also provides an API Read Access Token. In cNative, the API key is required and this token is optional. You can leave the token field blank.

Configure and install

In General Settings, paste your key into TMDB API key (required). If using a read access token, paste it into the separate optional field.

Click Save API key and wait for confirmation. cNative validates the key and, if supplied, the token.

Open Catalogs. Keep the default catalog or customize it using the instructions below.

After editing a catalog, click Apply catalog, then Save configuration at the bottom of the page.

Install your saved configuration using one of the methods below.

The default catalog includes Chinese-language TV shows tagged Drama, sorted by popularity, with enabled.

Installation Method

Click , allow your browser to open Stremio, and confirm installation in the app. The button uses Stremio’s

documented addon installation link

If the button does not open Stremio, click Copy manifest URL and paste the complete link into your client’s addon URL installation field.

How to Install

1. Make sure the official Stremio app is installed and you are signed in.
2. Open the addon installation or configuration page.
3. Review any requested options or third-party credentials before continuing.
4. Select Install and approve the prompt in Stremio.
5. Restart or refresh Stremio if the addon does not appear immediately.

• Never enter a Stremio password on an unrelated website.

Troubleshooting

If installation fails, update Stremio, disable network filtering temporarily, and open the configuration page in the same device profile where Stremio is installed. Addon availability can change because community services are independently hosted.
